44 Yoga + Movement was born of my love of yoga, movement and teaching. With over 20 years of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher, my passion and calling towards teaching yoga progressed ten-fold during my own practice throughout both my pregnancies. Always integrating somatic and kinesthetic approaches to my teaching, my continued yoga study has led me to teach from an even more holistic approach, while maintaining a mindful honoring of yogic history and culture for dancers and non-dancers alike. 

Keeping it real, evolving & honoring the place and space you are in at any given moment or season of life has been a continuous life-lesson for me. To that, is a belief that seeking the balance of motion and stillness and valuing the mind-heart-body-soul connection is essential for individual growth inside and out…. so is being true to who you are unapologetically and owning your stuff. It’s all about being present in the here & now on this road trip called life and everyone’s map tells a different story. 

I believe in teaching relatable, down to earth yoga classes that meet students wherever they are at in their own yoga and movement journey. Classes radiate a welcoming, “feel good” vibe, dripped in approachability, love, self-reflection, challenge, laughter, chill and transformation. Breathe easy, my friends and I’ll meet you on the mat.
